Phu Quoc National Park is located on Phu Quoc Island in the Gulf of Thailand, off the coast of Cambodia, though it is part of Vietnam's Kien Giang Province. Spanning over more than half of the island, this national park is home to a diverse biosphere with many endemic species. It was established to conserve the rich flora and fauna of the island. The thick canopy of the dense tropical jungle is home to an array of wildlife, including long-tailed macaques, silver langurs, slow loris, and various bird species. The park also encompasses mountains, dense tropical jungle, hiking trails, and secluded beaches. Mount Heaven, the highest peak in the park, offers panoramic views of the island. With environmental conservation a priority, the park provides an oasis for nature lovers and hikers who come to experience the island's natural beauty. Additionally, Phu Quoc National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, which highlights its significance in biodiversity conservation.
