The nearest airport to Verona is the Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN), also known as Valerio Catullo Airport. It is situated approximately 12 kilometers from Piazza Bra. On arrival, you can take a taxi, rent a car, or use the public transport shuttle Aerobus which connects the airport to Verona’s main railway station, Verona Porta Nuova. From there, you can either take a bus, walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a taxi directly to Piazza Bra.
Verona's main train station is Verona Porta Nuova. Trains from other parts of Italy and neighboring countries arrive here. Once you're at Verona Porta Nuova, Piazza Bra is a 20-minute walk away, or you can take the bus lines 11, 12, 13, 51, and 52 which will take you close to Piazza Bra.
Several bus lines run through Verona and have stops near Piazza Bra. You can take any of the urban ATV buses that list Piazza Bra as a stop. Tickets can be purchased at tobacconists, newsagents, or in automatic machines at the main bus stops.
If you are driving to Verona, you can use a GPS to direct you to Piazza Bra. Keep in mind that parking can be challenging in the city center. Look for the nearest parking areas such as the Parking Arena, which is very close to Piazza Bra, but it may be busy, especially during peak tourist season or opera nights.
If you're staying in the city center, Piazza Bra is easily reachable on foot. Verona's historic center is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy walking along the charming streets until you reach the spacious Piazza, which houses the famous Arena di Verona.
