Piazza della Signoria is an L-shaped square located in the heart of Florence, Italy, and is the focal point of the city's political history as well as the social life of its citizens. The square is dominated by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, Florence's town hall, with its crenellated tower offering a commanding view.
