Qalai-Bost Tourism

Qal'eh-ye Bost, often simply referred to as Bost, is a historic site situated in the province of Badghis, near the city of Lashkargah in Afghanistan. This ancient fortification holds the remnants of a once-thriving urban center that dates back to the pre-Islamic and Islamic periods. Bost was a critical hub of the Ghaznavid and Ghurid empires, playing a strategic role due to its position along trade routes. Known for its famed 11th-century arch, the Bost Arch is considered an iconic example of Islamic architecture of that era.
