The Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) is situated in Al Rayyan, Qatar, and is part of the Qatar Foundation's Education City. This state-of-the-art facility was designed by the renowned Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, providing a blend of ultramodern architecture with traditional Islamic design, particularly through its iconic facade featuring the Sidra tree, which symbolizes wisdom, strength, and is a beacon of learning and comfort in the desert. Opened in December 2011, QNCC boasts over 40,000 square meters of exhibition space, a conference hall for 4,000 delegates, a 2,300-seat lyric-style theatre, three additional tiered auditoriums, 52 flexible meeting rooms, and luxurious lounges and hospitality suites. Its advanced features include a high-tech sound system, lighting capabilities, IT support, and accommodations for VIPs. The center is a venue for international conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and gala events, promoting cultural exchange and academic enrichment in the Middle East.
