Best Time to Visit Rason International Trade Exhibition

The Rason International Trade Exhibition is a notable event that takes place annually in Rason, a special economic zone in North Korea. The exhibition provides an opportunity for foreign investors and businesses to engage with North Korean enterprises. If you are planning to attend, the best time to visit the exhibition is typically during the summer months. Particularly, the event is often scheduled in August. During this period, the weather in Rason is generally warm and suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities, which makes it an ideal time for visitors to not only partake in the exhibition but also explore the locale.

Before planning your trip, it's essential to keep in mind that North Korea has a monsoon season that usually runs from late June to late August, which can lead to heavy rainfall. Nevertheless, the Rason exhibition is mostly an indoor event, so visitors can still enjoy the exhibition despite the occasional rain. Additionally, summer aligns with the peak tourist season in North Korea, meaning that you are more likely to encounter other international visitors and engage in a vibrant atmosphere within the exhibition. However, ensure to confirm the dates of the event for the current year and check on travel advisories, as international relations can impact the accessibility of the region for foreign nationals.
