Reigando Cave is a significant historical site located in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. This cave is known for being the place where the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi wrote "The Book of Five Rings." Here's how to get there:

By Air:

Fly into Kumamoto Airport (KMJ). It's the closest airport to Reigando Cave. From there, you can rent a car or use public transportation to reach the cave.

By Train:

If you're coming from Tokyo, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kumamoto Station. Travel time is approximately 6 hours. From Kumamoto Station, you can then take a bus or taxi to Reigando Cave.

By Bus:

From Kumamoto Station, take the Kyushu Sanko Bus towards Tamana for about 30 minutes and alight at the "Reigando Iriguchi" stop. From there, it is a short walk to the cave.

By Car:

If you opt to rent a car, it's approximately a 40-minute drive from Kumamoto city center to Reigando Cave. Parking is available near the site.

Opening Hours:

Reigando Cave is open to visitors all year round, with the usual hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Admission Fee:

There's a small fee to enter the site, which helps with the maintenance and preservation of the cave and surrounding area.
