Fly into Kumamoto Airport (KMJ). It's the closest airport to Reigando Cave. From there, you can rent a car or use public transportation to reach the cave.
If you're coming from Tokyo, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kumamoto Station. Travel time is approximately 6 hours. From Kumamoto Station, you can then take a bus or taxi to Reigando Cave.
From Kumamoto Station, take the Kyushu Sanko Bus towards Tamana for about 30 minutes and alight at the "Reigando Iriguchi" stop. From there, it is a short walk to the cave.
