By Public Transport

• Funicular: For those coming from hillier parts of Naples, the Central Funicular connects to the metro system and has a stop near the theatre as well.

By Car

From the Airport

• Alibus: From Naples International Airport (Capodichino), you can take the Alibus shuttle service that drops you off at the central Piazza Garibaldi, where you can transfer to the Metro Line 1 and proceed as above.
• Taxi services are also available from the airport. A fixed fare is usually set for the city center, so ensure to ask for the fixed fare to "Teatro San Carlo" from the driver before departure.

Worth noting:

San Carlo Theatre is in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), meaning unauthorized vehicles are not allowed in the area at specific times. It is usually active from Monday to Thursday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 am the next day. If you're staying at a local hotel, the hotel may be able to help you with a temporary permit.

By Train

The central train station of Naples, Stazione Napoli Centrale, is well connected to San Carlo Theatre by public transport or taxis. The Metro Line 1 connection from Piazza Garibaldi (adjacent to the train station) is the same as mentioned in the airport section.
