Splendid China Folk Village is a cultural theme park located in Shenzhen, China, showcasing the diverse heritage of China through miniature replicas of famous landmarks and life-sized performances. Sprawling across 30 hectares, the park is split into two main sections: 'Splendid China' Miniature Park and the 'China Folk Culture Village.' The 'Splendid China' area exhibits meticulously detailed models of China’s historical buildings, natural wonders, and scenic spots, scaled down to provide a panoramic view of Chinese architecture and landscapes. It features over 80 replicas, including the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terracotta Army, and Potalo Palace, providing an immersive experience for visitors to learn about the country's rich past and geographic diversity. Moving to the 'China Folk Culture Village,' guests can explore 24 full-scale ethnic villages, representing China's major ethnic groups, complete with authentic houses and live demonstrations of cultural crafts, music, and dance. Traditional festivals are celebrated here, providing insights into the customs of each ethnicity. The park also hosts various shows, including large-scale dance performances and acrobatic acts, encapsulating China's cultural heritage.
