Dameisha Beach is one of the most popular and the largest public beaches in Shenzhen, China, situated in the Yantian District. Stretching across a 1.8 kilometer long coastline, the beach is renowned for its golden sands, clean waters, and picturesque mountain backdrop. Dameisha translates to ‘big sand,’ aptly reflecting the expansive nature of the shore. This scenic beachfront is surrounded by lush greenery and parks, such as the Dameisha Seaside Park, providing ample space for picnics and outdoor recreation for locals and tourists alike. As part of the Shenzhen city, it is well-maintained and features a promenade lined with palm trees, along with many facilities including showers, changing rooms, and lifeguards on duty. The area hosts a number of resorts and hotels catering to a range of budgets, making it an ideal getaway spot for weekenders.
