Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary Tourism

Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Shivalik foothills of the outer Himalayas and occupies the catchment area of Sukhna Lake, spanning over 2600 hectares of lush greenery. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1998, and is situated in the Union Territory of Chandigarh and the district of Panchkula, Haryana, India. Known for its rich biodiversity, the sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including several species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and medicinal plants.
