The Lion Gate is a historic and cultural landmark located in Bhaktapur, Nepal. This magnificent gate, adorned with the stone statues of lions on either side, is one of the key entrances to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It was constructed in 1696 AD by the Malla king, Bhupatindra Malla, whose statue can also be seen on a stone pillar above the gate.
