Ungma Village is one of the largest and oldest villages in the state of Nagaland, located near Mokokchung Town. It holds great historical amnd cultural significance to the Ao Naga tribe, being considered as the birthplace of the Ao people. The village is a window into the rich heritage and traditions of the Nagaland tribes, with traditional Naga houses and age-old customs still being part of the daily lives of the villagers. It showcases the beautiful craftsmanship of the Ao Naga tribe through its intricately designed shawls, handicrafts, and jewellery. Heritage Naga Village
10 kilometres away from Kokokchung town. It’s a heritage Naga village. Very clean and maintained. The roads are narrow and there’s hardly any activity.

Ao Naga village
