How To Reach Wolmido Island

Getting to Wolmido Island, Incheon, South Korea

By Public Transportation: One of the most convenient and economical ways to reach Wolmido Island is by using South Korea's efficient public transportation system.

• By Subway: Take the Incheon Subway Line 1 to Incheon Station, the last stop. From there, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Wolmido Island which is approximately 10 minutes away.
• By Bus: After reaching Incheon Station, several buses such as numbers 2, 15, 23, 45 or 306 can be taken to reach Wolmido Island. Look for the buses that have "Wolmido" listed as a stop.

By Taxi: You can also easily take a taxi from anywhere in Incheon directly to Wolmido Island. This is a more comfortable but more expensive option compared to the bus or subway.

By Car: If you are driving, you can make use of the Incheon Bridge or Yeongjong Bridge to reach Wolmido. There are parking facilities available on the island.

By Ferry: During high season, there might be ferry services available from Incheon Port to Wolmido Island. However, these are not regular services and it is recommended to check the availability in advance.
