How to Reach Yanar Dag

Located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of the capital city Bator, Yanar Dag is an ancient and natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea. Here’s how you can get there:

By Public Transport

Take the metro to Koroglu Station. From there, you can catch bus number 217 to reach Yanar Dag. Keep in mind that public transport might not drop you directly at the site, and a short walk may be required.

By Taxi or Ride-Sharing Services

For convenience, hire a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Bolt directly from your location in Baku. It's advisable to agree on the fare in advance if you’re taking a taxi.
