Day 1: NJP Rly. Stn. / IXB-Bagdogra airport to Gangtok ( 125 kms / 4 hrs./ 5500 ft )
Meet & greet on arrival at NJP Railway station / IXB- Bagdogra airport & transfer to Gangtok . Gangtok is a popular hill destination in the north eastern region of India where you can view the natural beauty dotted with lakes , mountains and specially catch a glimpse of the majestic Khanchenjunga which is the third highest peak in the world.. Gangtok is a quaint hill town steeped in Buddhist culture with colourful prayer flags waving in the cool air amidst fertile hills , silent lamas quietly mumbling sacred chants and , vividly painted pagoda roofed huts . Bhutias , Lepchas and Nepalis influence the culture and traditions of this region . Gangtok is now emerging as a main point of Tibetology. People interested in Tibetan Buddhism culture visit this town which has a number of famous monasteries and Tibetan institutions of learning. Day 2: Tshomgo Lake Excursion
After breakfast, proceed to Baba Mandir ( 13,200 ft ) & Tsomgo lake (12,313 ft), a 55 kms drive which takes 2.5 hrs. this lake is located very close to Nathula pass which is the entry point to china termed as the “silk route & remains frozen for most parts of the year. Legend has it that the lamas use to forecast the future by studying the colour of the lakes waters. Enjoy the surroundings, majestic snowy peaks which feed the lake and the clean fresh air, back to Gangtok by 3 pm for a late lunch. Evening free for leisure or go shopping for Sikkimese traditional handicrafts . Overnight stay at Gangtok. Day 3: Gangtok – Lachen (107 kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,500 ft.), north Sikkim. Lachen is a town in north Sikkim district in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is located at an elevation of 2,750 metres. The name lachen means “big passâ€. the town is being promoted as a tourist destination by the Sikkimese government. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga waterfall, the confluence of Lachen chu (river) & Lachung chu (river) at Chungthang and Bhim nala waterfall. On the way take lunch at your own cost . After lunch start journey . On arrival at Lachen check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 4: Lachen – Chopta valley – Gurudongmar lake – Lachung
Early morning drive to Chopta valley (13,200 ft.) & Gurudongmar lake (17,100 ft.). back to hotel & after lunch transfer to Lachung (8,700 ft). ). Lachung is a town in northeast Sikkim, India. It is located in the north Sikkim district and is near the border with Tibet. Lachung is at an elevation of about 9,600 ft or 3,000 m and at the confluence of the Lachen river and Lachung rivers, tributaries of the river teesta. The word lachung means “small passâ€. the town is approximately 125 km from the capital Gangtok.the indian army has a forward base in the town. Before the annexation of Tibet in 1950, Lachung was a trading post between Sikkim and Tibet, after which it was closed down. The town’s economy has been boosted by tourism in recent years as the region has been opened up by the Indian government. Tourist come from all over the world to visit the town between October and May, mostly on their way to the Yumthang valley and the Lachung monastery. Most of Lachung’s inhabitants are of Lepcha and Tibetan descent. Languages spoken here are Nepali, Lepcha and Bhutia. During winter the town is usually covered in snow. Lachung is also the base camp for rhododendron valley trek which starts from Yumthang valley and ends at Lachen valley.lachung has been described as the “most picturesque village of Sikkim†by British explorer Joseph Dalton hooker in his definitive, the Himalayan journal (1855). Skiing is conducted in Phuni near this town arrive Lachung by evening. dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 5: Lachung – Yumthang valley excursion - Gangtok
After breakfast proceed to Yumthang valley (12,000 ft. known as valley of flowers). on the way back, visit hot spring considered to have medicinal properties. back to resort .After lunch proceed to Gangtok. On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Day 6: Gangtok halfday local to Pelling

Due to its unique location Pelling is an ideal place for nature lovers and is famous for its superb scenic beauty which is impossible to describe in words but requires to feel. The magnificent view of mighty Khanchenjunga massif, which is considered to be the guardian deity of Sikkim and its surrounding snow capped Himalayan peaks, ie. Koktang, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Kabru dom, Pandim, Zopunu, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinialchu etc. Forest covered hills and the entire route to zongri from yuksom can be visible from here and all of them offer a heavenly beauty which is unforgettable for the whole of life. Day 7: Pelling fullday local sightseeing

Day 8: Pelling to Kalimpong ( 105 kms / 4 hrs. / 4,101 ft )
After breakfast tranfer to Kalimpong . Kalimpong is a hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located at an average elevation of 1,250 metres (4,101 ft) the town is the headquarters of the Kalimpong district. the Indian army's 27 mountain division is located on the outskirts of the town . Kalimpong is known for its educational institutions, many of which were established during the British colonial period. it used to be a gateway in the trade between Tibet and India before china's annexation of Tibet and the Sino-Indian war. The precise etymology of the name Kalimpong remains unclear. There are many theories on the origin of the name. One widely accepted theory claims that the name "Kalimpong" means "assembly (or stockade) of the king's ministers" in Tibetan, derived from kalon ("king's ministers") and pong ("stockade"). It may be derived from the translation "ridge where we play" from lepcha, as it was known to be the place for traditional tribal gatherings for summer sporting events. People from the hills call the area Kalempung ("the black spurs") . On arrival at Kalimpong check into your hotel . Evening free for own leisure .Overnight stay at Kalimpong .
Day 9: Kalimpong halfday local sightseen to Darjeeling ( 59 kms / 6,950 ft / 2.30 hrs. )
After breakfast visit Mangal dham, Deolo hill, Durpin dara hills & Pine view nursery. Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling . Darjeeling's name derives from a monastery called “dorje†ling which was built by the local tribals denzongpas in 1765 on behalf of the chogyal of Sikkim. It is said that it was formerly a place of worship of the rongs where three stone stand erect (lung-chok) till today. "dorje" means thunderbolt and "ling" means place. unfortunately the monastery was destroyed by the invading gurkha army in 1815. On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Early morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. worlds’ 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom monastery and Batasia loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Day 11: Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB-Bagdogra (80 Kms / 3 Hrs)
