Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is a distinguished and unconventional shrine located in East Sikkim, India, at an altitude of around 13,123 feet above sea level. This temple is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. According to legend, Baba Harbhajan Singh still safeguards India's borders in spirit form. Devotees believe that he has supernatural powers and his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable terrain. The original bunker of Baba is located at Nathula Pass, where he performed his official duties. Later, to honor his spirit, the Indian Army built the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, which has since become a place of worship and a site of pilgrimage. Troops and civilians alike visit the shrine to seek Baba's blessing. The temple is marked by its vibrant Tibetan-style architecture and houses a photograph of Baba Harbhajan Singh, which is revered by visitors. The surrounding area is characterized by its beautiful, rugged terrain, with panoramic views of the nearby hill slopes and a serene ambiance.
