10 Nights 11 Days Gangtok Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: IXB Airport / njp – Gangtok
Reach at Bagdogra / NJP & transfer to Gangtok. Check-in at Hotel/ Resort and overnight stay. Evening free to go around the famous M.G. Marg. Enjoy the local beauty of Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass Extra)
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Overnight stay at Gangtok.(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)(pickup and drop from north sikkim stand for sumo/maxx 8am to 8pm) nathula exta Rs 4000/- to 8000/- Per Vehicle Nathula: Nathula visit is subject to availability of permit & road condition. Only limited permits are issued by the army before 48 hrs of tour. It is open only on Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun. NAME, ADDRESS, AGE & GENDER of all guests travelling are required for processing of permit. Normally organizing permit at the eleventh hour is not possible, minimum time required is 72 hours before the arrival. We will try our best, but in case of non-availability of permit, the tour will only be till Baba Mandir. (Additional Charge Rs.4000/- to 8000/- per vehicle.) It is mandatory that guest should carry photo proof identity card such as voter ID card / passport and passport size photograph.
Day 3: Gangtok to lachen(about 125km/6hrs)
After breakfast drive to lachen(altitude 8800ft) for about 6 hours, enroute visit singhik view point, seven sister water falls, naga water falls, stop on way for lunch. Reach lachen by evening . dinner at hotel . over night hat at lachen hotel.
Day 4: Lachen - Gurudongma lake - Lachung
After breakfast drive to Gurudongmar lake(17,800ft) via chopta valley& thangu , back to hotel for lunch, after lunch transfer to lachung, overnight at hotel at lachung.
Day 5: Lachung-Yumthang excursion – Gangtok( Zero point extra)
Early morning visit yumthang valley(known as valley of flowers), yumthang is the summer grazing grounds of the yeks& winter play grounds of yetis. On the way back visit the spring considered to have medical properties. Back to resort for lunch, after lunch Drive to Gangtok. Overnight at Gangtok. * Visit to Zero point is additional and needs to be paid to the driver. It is subject to weather condition.
Day 6: Gangtok Local Sightseeing and (Paragliding optional Rs 500 waiting charge)
Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, , Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 7: Gangtok – Pelling(namchi sightseeing extra Rs 3000)
This morning after breakfast transfer to Pelling/darap. (6,100 ft.). Enroute visit Ravengla,. And visit Buddha park. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 8: Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Sangacholing Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Overnight stay at pelling.
Day 9: Pelling to Darjeeling Transfer and Toy Train Ride (Optional, At Own Cost)
After breakfast Drive to Darjeeling. On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 10: Tiger Hill and Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 11: Darjeeling to New Jalpaiguri/Airport
After breakfast at your hotel and proceed for the NJP Station / Bagdogra (IXB). Board your train/flight for your onward destination with cheerful memories of your holiday. Trip Ends.
