4 Nights 5 Days Gangtok Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and a ride to Darjeeling from the Airport/Railway Station.
Meet and greet at the Airport/NJP Railway Station after which the journey commences. Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing Pickup and Drop from the hotel
Starting time: Early morning (if you are to see the sunrise) Destination: Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and others. Description of the tour: Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 meters at around 4 AM) to see the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person and is closed on 19th of every month) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Head towards Gangtok
After breakfast, as per your convenience head towards Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok
Day 4: A trip to Tsomgo Lake and its nearby attractions
Destination: Tsomgo Lake Trip Description: After a hearty breakfast start the tour to Tsomgo Lake. The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50ft deep. Here you can witness snow, snowfall (if you’re lucky) & Yak Riding. Visit to the legendary Baba Mandir. Optional tour to Nathula Pass (The Indo-China border) depends upon the availability of permit which costs an additional of Rs3000 per vehicle (Monday and Tuesday the pass is closed). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 5: Dropping at the Airport/Station
Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule. Tour Ends.
