6 Nights 7 Days Srinagar Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Day 01 Srinagar Arrival
Meet upon arrival and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats/Hotel. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens ECT. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Dinner and overnight at Houseboat / Hotel.
Day 2: Day 02 in Srinagar
Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zaberwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet – weaving factory. Dinner and overnight at Houseboat / Hotel
Day 3: Day 03 Srinagar/Sonamarg
Affter breakfast drive to Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered in 2-1/2 hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley stream with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow over night stay at Hotel in sonamarg.
Day 4: Day 04 sonamarg/Pahalgam
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 160 kms will be covered in about 4 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma) and Mattan (Holly fish Shiva Temple) see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the pictures of magnificent view of mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Pahalgam.
Day 5: Day 05 Pahalgam/Srinagar
After breakfast one can visit Chandanwari, Aru Valley or betaab Valley, if they wish to, at their own cost, late afternoon drive back to Srinagar from Pahalgam and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats/Hotel Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboats/Hotel.
Day 6: Day 06 in Srinagar/ gulmarg
After breakfast full day trip to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers).2730 Mts. Above sea levels. The Distance of 60 kms.will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow or Gondola ride (Cable car) up to Khilanmarg to enjoy the fascinating view of Peerpanchal range. Lunch at Gulmarg. Overnight stay at hotel in srinagar
Day 7: Day 07 Srinagar Departure
After breakfast transfer to airport catch flight for further destination.
