Ak Orda Presidential Palace, located in the heart of Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana), serves as the official workplace of the President of Kazakhstan. Completed in 2004, this grandiose structure was designed by renowned architect Manfredi Nicoletti and stands as a symbol of modern Kazakhstan. Its distinctively blue and gold dome rises to a height of 80 meters, representing the color of the Kazakh flag, while the white marble façade exudes elegance and power. The palace features a spacious hall, multiple rooms for different state functions, a press hall, and a dome hall, adorned with a large map of Kazakhstan, showcasing its cultural and geopolitical significance. Spanning an area of 36,720 square meters, the palace's interiors are equally impressive, decorated with various works of art, including tapestries, paintings, and sculptures that reflect the country's rich heritage. The building is not generally open for public tours, but its architecture and prominence in Kazakh political life make it a point of interest for visitors to the city.
