• Train: The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley. From there, Camera Obscura is only a short 10-15 minute walk away, following the signs towards Edinburgh Castle.

By Car

1. Parking: There is no on-site parking at Camera Obscura, as it is located on the historic Royal Mile. However, there are several car parks within walking distance, including NCP Edinburgh Castle Terrace and Radisson Blu Car Park.
2. Directions: If approaching from the A1, branch off onto the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass and follow the signs for the city centre, then follow local signage towards Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile.

By Foot

Being centrally located, Camera Obscura is easily accessible on foot from anywhere within Edinburgh city centre. Simply head towards Edinburgh Castle, located at the top end of the Royal Mile, and you will find Camera Obscura adjacent to it.
