How to Reach Campuhan Ridge Walk

By Air

The nearest airport to Ubud is Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Denpasar Airport. It is located in Southern Bali and is about 35 kilometers from Ubud. From the airport, you have several options to reach Campuhan Ridge Walk:

• Taxi: The most convenient way is by taxi which will take about an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic. Do negotiate the fare in advance or opt for a metered taxi.
• Shuttle Bus: There are shuttle bus services available from the airport or the Kuta area that can drop you off in Ubud. You can then take a local taxi or walk to the Campuhan Ridge Walk.
• Car Rental: Renting a car at the airport is another option if you are comfortable driving in Bali. Make sure to rent a GPS for ease of navigation.

By Road

Ubud is well-connected by road from all major cities in Bali. To reach Campuhan Ridge Walk by road:

• Drive towards Jalan Raya Ubud, the main street in Ubud.
• Turn towards Jalan Raya Campuhan and head west past the Blanco Renaissance Museum.
• There is a small sign for Ibah Hotel where you will turn left. The road will lead you to the entrance of the Campuhan Ridge Walk.

By Foot

If you're staying in Ubud, the Campuhan Ridge Walk can be reached on foot.

• The starting point is near the Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa.
• Look for the pathway leading up to the hill right after the Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa.
• The entrance is marked by an archway with a sign reading "Going to the Hill" and you begin your ascent here.

Local Transport

Alternatively, you can use local transport to get close to the entrance:

• Bemo: These are mini-vans that operate on specified routes in and around Ubud.
• Motorcycle Taxi (Ojek): If you're traveling solo or with one other person, an ojek can get you there quickly.
• Metered Taxi: You can hail a metered taxi that'll take you right to the entrance.

• It's best to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat.
