Ubud Palace, also known as Puri Saren Agung, is a historical building complex situated in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. This palace is one of the most prominent landmarks in Ubud, known for its unique Balinese architecture and well-preserved structures that offer a glimpse into the royal past. The palace was the official residence of the royal family of Ubud, and even today, it stands as an iconic example of Bali's rich cultural heritage. Visitors are welcomed by the intricately carved gates and beautiful garden setting. Traditional dance performances are held in the evenings, which attract tourists to experience the local culture and art. Ubud Palace's main compound was built during the lordship of Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800–1823) and has been well maintained by his successors. It's ideally located at the center of Ubud, making it a convenient starting point for exploring the town's other attractions, such as the Ubud Market, museums, and temples.

Located opposite central market. Yet another photo opportunity place, didn't stay for too long. Free entry.

Worth a skip unless you are into checklists
Rather underwhelming. Can be skipped and will save you an hour or so. Visit only if you are into instagramming and/or want to cross it off your list
