Ubud Palace, also known as Puri Saren Agung, is a historical building complex situated in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Worth a skip unless you are into checklists
Rather underwhelming. Can be skipped and will save you an hour or so. Visit only if you are into instagramming and/or want to cross it off your list

Heart of sightseeing around Ubud
The Ubud Palace (also known as Puri Saren Agung) is located at the intersection of Jalan Raya Ubud and Jalan Monkey Forest in the heart of the cultural centre of Ubud. There is a lot of activity, motor traffic and tourists that congregate in this particular area. As for the Palace itself, it has long been the residence of the Royal Family of Ubud. The building you see today seems to have been constructed around 1640 and later restored and expanded in the early 19th-century. What you will see is architecture typical of Balinese Hindu temples with delicately carved gate entries, shrines and inner courtyard structures which seem to organically blend with nature and landscaping which adorns Puri Saren Agung. You can enter the grounds freely during the day, explore with what will likely be many other tourists and take as many pictures as you like,. During the evenings the Palace transforms into a venue for Balinese dance performances which are held nightly.

u get what u pay for
u can spend around 10 minutes here cos there is nothing much which is why entrance is free. do not travel all the way just to see it but if u are in the area then no harm having a look at the nice and unique architecture

A free Ubud attraction.
Ubud palace is an old building complex in Bali with some interesting carving and courtyard. It is very small and take about 10-15 minutes to fully explore. The pro is that it is completely free. But don't expect much from the palace. Nearby, there is a Ubud art market, which just sell the usual tourist souvenir that you can find almost everywhere. You won't be able to call Grab/BlueBird/GoJek in UBud. You can safely skip the attraction if you are on a busy schedule.
