Best Time to Visit Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary, Pasighat

The Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, offers a unique blend of scenic beauty and rich biodiversity. The ideal time to visit this sanctuary is during the post-monsoon season and winter months, which run from October to April. During this period, the weather is relatively dry and the water levels in the rivers are low, making it easier to explore the sanctuary. Moreover, it is the migratory season for various bird species, making it a haven for bird-watchers.

Visitors are especially encouraged to plan their trip around November to February when the weather conditions are most favorable. Humidity is lower, and the temperatures are comfortable for wildlife sightings and exploring the intricate network of water channels. This is also the time when the sanctuary becomes a temporary abode for numerous migratory birds, offering splendid opportunities for photography and wildlife observation. It's important to note that during the monsoon months, from May to September, the sanctuary experiences heavy rainfall which can lead to flooding and may restrict access to certain areas.
