Best Time To Visit Diezephe Craft Village (Dimapur) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Diezephe Craft Village in Dimapur, Nagaland

The ideal time to explore Diezephe Craft Village is between the months of October and May. During this period, the climate in Nagaland remains pleasant and favorable for travel and exploration. The monsoon season, which typically lasts from June to September, is less suitable for visiting due to heavy rainfall that can make transportation difficult and the paths muddy, potentially hampering your craft village experience. October marks the end of the monsoons and brings forth an enchanting environment, making it perfect for visitors to witness the lush greenery of the village and interact with the local artisans comfortably.

Moreover, visiting during the winter months, especially from October to February, will give tourists the chance to experience some of Nagaland's vibrant festivals. One of the key highlights is the Hornbill Festival, held annually from December 1st to 10th, which showcases the rich culture and heritage of the Naga people. Although Diezephe is a short distance from the main Hornbill Festival venue at Kisama Heritage Village, the festive atmosphere is palpable throughout the region, and local artists are often more active, providing a more enriched experience to the visitors of the craft village.
