Diriyah, a historic city located on the northwestern outskirts of the Saudi capital Riyadh, is a site of great cultural significance. Here’s how you can reach Diriyah:

By Air

King Khalid International Airport (RUH) is the nearest international airport to Diriyah. The following steps will guide you upon your arrival:

• Upon landing at the airport, head to the taxi stand or ride-sharing apps such as Careem and Uber.
• It's approximately a 30 to 50-minute drive to Diriyah, depending on traffic conditions.
• Car rentals are also available at the airport if you prefer to drive yourself.

By Road

If you happen to be in Riyadh or nearby cities, reaching Diriyah by road is quite convenient:

• Using a GPS navigating service, set your destination to "Diriyah" which is well-signposted around Riyadh.
• Public buses and intercity coaches also service routes that include stops at or near Diriyah.

Public Transportation

Once the Riyadh Metro project is complete, it will serve as another convenient means to reach Diriyah. Until then, the city’s public bus service or taxis are your best bet.
