Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The system consists of two main waterfalls: the Lower Düden Waterfalls and the Upper Düden Waterfalls. This natural attraction is a result of the Düden River, one of the major rivers in southern Anatolia, which creates a spectacular drop over the cliffs directly into the Mediterranean Sea for the Lower falls—also known as Karpuzkaldiran Falls—and flows through a scenic canyon before dispersing into a wide stream for the Upper falls. The serene, verdant surroundings and the thunderous sound of water provide a refreshing experience. The Upper falls, located in a tranquil municipal park, are a popular spot for picnics and offer visitors the unique experience of walking behind the curtain of water. The Lower falls, which are more dramatic due to their drop into the sea, provide stunning views from the coastal cliffs. The spot has historical significance as well, with nearby caves housing ancient dwellings. Both waterfalls are equipped with paths and viewing platforms, allowing for picturesque photos and easy access for visitors.
