Fountain Park Kim Ilsung Square Tourism

Kim Il-sung Square is a large public square in Pyongyang, North Korea, named after the country's founding leader. The square spans an area of approximately 75,000 square meters and is a common gathering place for parades, mass dances, and political rallies. It is strategically located on the west bank of the Taedong River, opposite the Juche Tower on the other side of the river. Surrounded by important state buildings, including the Grand People's Study House and government ministries, it also houses a history museum and an art studio. The ground is paved with stones, forming a vast open space surrounded by imposing edifices.
