Goshavank Monastery, also known as Nor Getik, is an impressive medieval monastery complex located near the town of Dilijan in the Tavush Province of Armenia. Named after the Armenian scholar, monk, and fabulist Mkhitar Gosh, the monastery is a significant cultural and historical site. Founded in the 12th century, Goshavank served not only as a religious center but also as a renowned seat of learning, attracting scholars and students from near and far. The complex features several churches, chapels, and khachkars (cross-stones), with intricate carvings and traditional Armenian architecture. The most notable buildings within the complex include the St. Astvatsatsin Church, St. Gregory Church, and the Gavit of Mkhitar Gosh. Khachkars
Nice monastery, included in many daytours going to Sevan and Diljian. The relevance is the statue of the man who has written constitutions. Beautiful khachkars are present on this site.

Peaceful
Not so far from Dilijan another Armenian monastery is located in a nice area, on a hill. There are few small shops around which they can make you to buy souvenirs
