Hazuri Bagh is a historical park located in the heart of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, situated between the Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque. This garden encloses a marble pavilion known as the Hazuri Bagh Baradari, built in 1813 by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Sikh ruler of Punjab. The garden represents a typical example of the Mughal garden design and reflects the rich historical past of the region. Hazuri Bagh has been a place of assembly for both the royals and the common folk. The area is surrounded by a high wall and hosts several old trees and flower beds, providing a serene and picturesque environment for visitors. The baradari, which originally had three open arches on each of its sides, was severely damaged during the British rule. However, it has now been restored and serves as a famous landmark. The entire vicinity is a popular tourist spot, and many cultural events take place in Hazuri Bagh regularly. The vicinity also houses some of the finest Mughal-era monuments, making it a significant spot for heritage and history enthusiasts.
