Hon Chong Promontory, popularly known as Husband Rock and Wife Rock, is a scenic coastal area located in Nha Trang City of the Khanh Hoa province in Vietnam. It's a picturesque and tranquil rock formation that is a popular tourist attraction, offering panoramic views of the South China Sea and the surrounding landscape. The site includes massive boulders stacked atop one another with one famous large rock that appears to be reaching out over the sea. According to local legend, the rocks represent a faithful husband standing protectively over his wife, hence the names. Visitors can climb atop these rocks for an even better vantage point and to appreciate the sea’s beauty and the gentle breeze. The area is also a cultural spot, showcasing elements of the Cham civilization with a nearby temple featuring ancient inscriptions.
