To reach Horyuji Temple by train, first, make your way to JR Nara Station. From there, you can take the JR Yamatoji Line to Horyuji Station. The journey typically takes about 12 minutes. Once you arrive at Horyji Station, the temple is approximately a 20-minute walk away.
Alternatively, upon reaching JR Nara Station, you can opt for a bus ride. Look for bus number 72 which will take you directly to Horyuji Temple. The trip is around 50 minutes.
