Ibusuki Onsen, located in Kagoshima Prefecture on Kyushu Island, Japan, is renowned for its unique sand baths, where visitors are buried in naturally heated sand by the beach. This natural therapy, called 'Sunamushi', uses the geothermal heat from hot springs (onsen) beneath the sand to soothe and heal the body.
