Ithaa Undersea Restaurant is a unique dining experience located 5 meters below the surface at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, in the Maldives. Opened in 2005, Ithaa is the world's first all-glass undersea restaurant, offering 180-degree panoramic views of the vibrant coral gardens surrounding it. The restaurant's name, 'Ithaa', means 'mother of pearl' in the Dhivehi language. This luxurious venue can host up to 14 diners and offers contemporary European cuisine with a touch of Maldivian flavors. Guests enter through a spiral staircase in a thatched pavilion at the end of a jetty. The acrylic structure provides a nearly uninterrupted underwater view, allowing diners to enjoy the company of colorful fish, sharks, and other marine life while indulging in a fine dining experience.
