The Jagalchi Fish Market in Busan is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and fresh seafood, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into the local culture and cuisine. To make the most out of your visit, the ideal time to go is in the early morning. This is when the market bustles with activity as fishermen bring in their fresh catch, and local sellers set up their stands. Typically, the market is most active between 5 AM to 10 AM. During these hours, you can observe the energetic auctioning of seafood, with locals and restaurateurs haggling to purchase the best products for their businesses or personal consumption.

The festival is a celebration of the market’s importance to Busan’s economy and is a perfect time for tourists to immerse themselves in Korean fish market culture.
