Best Time To Visit Jermuk Hot Springs (Jermuk) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Jermuk Hot Springs

The ideal time to visit the Jermuk Hot Springs in Armenia is during the late spring and summer months, specifically from May to October. During this period, the weather in Jermuk is pleasantly warm with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F), which allows for a comfortable experience at the hot springs as well as exploring the surrounding natural attractions. The summer months also offer the benefit of the lush greenery of the Armenian highlands, captivating with their full bloom and vibrant colors. Since the town of Jermuk is situated at a higher elevation, it ensures moderate temperatures even when the rest of the country experiences higher heat, making it a perfect retreat.

Another benefit of visiting during these months is that you'll have the opportunity to participate in local events and festivals that often take place in the warmer seasons. However, if you are looking to avoid the crowds, consider traveling in the shoulder months, such as May or early October, when the weather is still pleasant, but the tourist numbers are fewer. Please take note that winter can be extremely cold, and while the hot springs can provide a steamy respite, the snow and chilly temperatures might make travelling to Jermuk more challenging, limiting access to some attractions.
