Best Time to Visit Kanchenjunga View Point

The Kanchenjunga View Point in Rumtek, Sikkim offers one of the most stunning panoramas of the Kanchenjunga mountain range. The ideal time to visit this scenic spot is between October to December. During these months, the skies are usually clear, providing an unhindered view of the snow-capped peaks. The weather is pleasantly cool, making it perfect for sightseeing and photography. It is also a good time for trekking in the nearby areas as the monsoon season has ended, and the paths are dry and safe.

Another good window to enjoy the spectacular views is in the spring season, especially from March to early May. The spring brings with it a burst of rhododendron blooms and lush greenery, enriching the natural beauty of the area. The temperature during spring is comfortable, neither too hot nor too cold, which makes it an enjoyable time for visitors to explore the surroundings. However, mornings can be foggy, occasionally obscuring the view, but this usually clears up by noon, offering majestic views of Kanchenjunga in the afternoon light.
