By Air

If you are coming from another country, the nearest international airport is the Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo. From the airport, you can opt for the following modes of transportation:

  • Taxi: Pre-booked taxis or airport cabs can take you directly to the Kande Viharaya Temple. The journey may take approximately 2-2.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.

By Road

To reach Kande Viharaya by road, you have several options:
