Kep National Park is a remarkable area of natural beauty situated in the small peninsula town of Kep, Cambodia. Established in 1993, it covers an area of around 50 square kilometers and is famous for its lush forested hills and rich biodiversity that includes a variety of plant species, birds, and small mammals. Trekking and walking are popular activities in Kep National Park, with well-marked trails such as the main circuit of 8 kilometers that offers hikers panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand, the surrounding countryside, and the chance to observe local wildlife. Along the walks, visitors can find numerous points of interest including the Little Buddha statue, the Sunset Rock viewpoint offering spectacular sunset views, and the seafront where seafood is abundantly available from the nearby crab market. The park has an information center at the entrance where maps and advice can be obtained. Its proximity to the charming coastal town of Kep, known for its colonial-era villas and seafood cuisine, makes it a popular destination for both nature and culture enthusiasts.

If you have a few hours free in the morning, this is an easy walk of about 1 1/2 hours on a paved but mostly empty road. You pays $1 per person on entry. Halfway though there is a 12 meter high tow..
Disappointing. All the footpaths have disappeared. The only way to walk round the park is on a nasty, modern road. The only good thing is the viewing platform.
