Konark Natya Mandap is a cultural center situated in the small town of Konark, known worldwide for its magnificent Sun Temple, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located in the Puri district of Odisha, India. Established by the renowned Odissi dance guru, Padmashree Sanjukta Panigrahi, the Natya Mandap is a hub for preserving and promoting the classical dance of Odisha, the Odissi dance form, as well as other cultural heritage of the state. The architecture of the center is inspired by the traditional Orissan style. Annually, it hosts the Konark Dance Festival, which attracts performers and art connoisseurs from all over the world. Surrounding the Natya Mandap are beautiful natural scenarios that enhance the spiritual and cultural ambience of the place.
