Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is a renowned eco-tourism site situated in the serene and verdant Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens. The park boasts an expansive area of 20.9 acres and promotes the concept of a free-flight walk-in aviary, offering a spectacular experience where visitors can see birds living in a beautifully landscaped, semi-natural environment. The park is home to more than 3,000 birds from approximately 200 species, both local and from around the globe. It features four zones; Zone 1 and 2 make up the free-flight zones, Zone 3 is the Hornbill Park, and Zone 4 contains birds in cages and mini aviaries. It is especially known for its large free-flight area where birds can fly freely, giving visitors an immersive experience. The park engages in education and conservation efforts, has breeding programs to preserve endangered species, and is an excellent spot for bird watching, photography, and family outings. Attractions include the World of Parrots, Flamingo Pond, and Waterfall Aviary. Various shows and activities are also orchestrated for visitors to interact with and learn more about the feathered residents.
