Best Time To Visit Kushmi Forest (Gorakhpur) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Kushmi Forest, Gorakhpur

Kushmi Forest, situated in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, is a dense woodland that offers a natural retreat from the bustling city life. The ideal time to visit Kushmi Forest is during the cooler months that span from November to February. During this period, the weather is pleasant with a mild climate, making it perfect for wildlife spotting and long walks amidst the trees. The temperatures during these months usually fluctuate between 10°C and 25°C, which is comfortable for exploring the outdoor activities that the forest offers, such as picnicking and bird watching.

The monsoon season, which typically lasts from July to September, brings life to the forest with lush greenery and revitalized flora and fauna, yet it might not be the most comfortable time for visitors due to the high humidity and potential for heavy rainfall. Summer months, from April to June, on the other hand, can be extremely hot in Gorakhpur, with temperatures soaring up to 40°C. Therefore, if you are planning a visit exclusively for forest exploration and natural ambience, it's best to avoid the scorching heat of the summers and the unpredictability of the monsoon season, making the winter months the most recommended and popular time for tourists and locals alike.
