By Road

• Self-Drive or Car Rental: The most flexible option is driving to the Cameron Highlands. From Kuala Lumpur, it takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours via the North-South Expressway (NSE) exiting at Tapah and proceeding via route 59 straight to the highlands.

• Taxi or Private Transfer: You can also hire a taxi or arrange for a private transfer, especially if you're not comfortable driving on winding mountain roads. This option offers convenience but at a higher cost.

By Bus

• From Kuala Lumpur: There are several coach services available from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in Kuala Lumpur going to Tanah Rata in Cameron Highlands. Upon reaching Tanah Rata, you can hire a taxi to the Mossy Forest.

• From Penang or Ipoh: Direct bus services are also available from these cities. The duration from Penang is about 4-5 hours and from Ipoh it is around 2-3 hours.
