Traveling by train is the most convenient way to reach Nara Park.
If you are coming from Osaka, you can also take a direct bus to Nara. The Kansai Airport Limousine Bus travels from Kansai International Airport to JR Nara Station.
If you are driving or taking a taxi, use a navigation system to reach Nara Park. There are multiple parking areas around the park. Taxis can be more expensive, especially from Osaka or Kyoto.
Walking: Nara Park is accessible on foot from both Nara stations and is a pleasant walk through the city, with signs to guide you.
City Loop Bus: The Nara City Loop bus is a convenient way to get around Nara from the train stations and stops at several locations throughout Nara Park.
Rental Bicycles: Another popular option is to rent a bicycle. Rental shops are available near both Nara and Kintetsu-Nara stations.
