How To Reach Navigli District

Getting to Navigli District, Milan, Italy

The Navigli District in Milan is one of the city's most charming and lively areas, known for its picturesque canals, vibrant nightlife, and antique markets. Here are the various ways you can reach the Navigli District:

By Metro

Take the M2 (green line) and get off at the Porta Genova FS station. The Navigli District is just a short walk from the metro station.

By Tram

Consider taking one of the following tram lines:

  • Line 2: Stops at P.ta Genova M2, which is conveniently close to Navigli.
  • Line 3 and Line 14: Both stop at Via Valenza, which is on the edge of the Navigli District.

By Bus

You can also reach the area using various bus lines:

  • Line 47: Crosses the Navigli District and stops at various points along the way.
  • Line 59: Stops at Ripa di Porta Ticinese, which is very close to the heart of Navigli.
  • Line Navigli 325: Specifically designed for transporting visitors to the area, albeit with less frequent runs.

By Train

For those coming from other cities, Milan's Central Station is the main arrival point. From there, take the M2 metro line towards Assago/Abbiategrasso and get off at Porta Genova FS.
