Best Time to Visit New Government Center Bacolod

The New Government Center (NGC) of Bacolod City, located in the Philippines, is not only a hub for local governance but also an attraction due to its architectural design and the surrounding park. If you're planning to visit the NGC for either official business or leisure, the best time to go is during the dry season, which generally spans from December to May. The cooler months of December and January offer a pleasant climate, making it comfortable to explore the grounds without the sweltering heat that can be expected in the summer months of April and May. However, visiting during the peak of summer ensures that you get to see the NGC in clear, bright weather, which is excellent for photography.

Another great time to visit is during the city's vibrant MassKara Festival, usually held in October. While this is technically the wet season, the festivities bring a lively atmosphere to Bacolod. The area around the NGC is often involved in the celebrations, with colorful parades and street dances. To witness the NGC and Bacolod City in full festive mode, time your visit to coincide with the MassKara Festival, but be sure to book accommodations well in advance as this is a popular event that attracts visitors from around the world.
