By Ropeway

Access: The Herb Garden is most famously accessed by the Kobe Nunobiki Ropeway, which provides a panoramic view of the Kobe city. The Ropeway's base station, Shin-Kobe Station, is conveniently located near the Shin-Kobe bullet train station. If you are coming by Shinkansen (bullet train), it's just a short walk from the exit.

By Foot

If you prefer a brisk walk or a hike, you can reach the garden on foot. There are walking trails from Shin-Kobe and Kitano Ijinkan-gai, a well-known historical area with western-style buildings. The hike from Shin-Kobe Station takes about 15 to 20 minutes and is a steep slope up to the entrance of the garden.

By Bus or Train

Local transportation is also available for those who prefer it. You can take a city bus from Sannomiya Station and get off at the 'Nunobiki Herb-en' bus stop, which is directly in front of the entrance. If you're coming by train, the Kobe Municipal Subway can take you to Shin-Kobe Station, where you can transfer to the Ropeway or take the hiking trail.
