Getting to Odori Park, Sapporo, Japan

Odori Park is located in the heart of Sapporo, making it easily accessible by various means of transportation.

By Air

Travelers flying in will arrive at New Chitose Airport. From the airport, you have the following options:

• Rapid Airport Train: Take the JR Rapid Airport Train to Sapporo Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once at Sapporo Station, you can transfer to the Sapporo Municipal Subway.
• Bus: Airport buses directly connect New Chitoshoe Airport to the city center, which can take about 70 minutes depending on traffic.
• Taxi: Taxis are available but can be very expensive due to the distance.

By Subway

Odori Park is served by three subway lines:

• Namboku Line: Get off at Odori Station.
• Tozai Line: Get off at Odori Station.
• Toho Line: Use the connecting underground walkway from Sapporo Station.

By Tram

The Sapporo Streetcar (tram) operates a line that runs to the west of the park. The closest stop is the "West 4 Chome" stop.

On Foot

As Odori Park stretches across the city center, it is well within walking distance from many parts of downtown Sapporo, such as Susukino or Sapporo Station.

By Car

Parking can be limited and expensive in Sapporo city center. If you choose to drive, it's best to park in one of the designated parking areas and walk or use public transportation to reach Odori Park.
