How to Reach Paradise Island, Maldives

Paradise Island, known locally as Lankanfinolhu, is located in the North Malé Atoll in the Maldives. Here's a detailed guide on reaching this breathtaking destination:

International Arrival

The first step in reaching Paradise Island is to fly into the Maldives' main international gateway:

• Velana International Airport (MLE) - Located on Hulhulé Island, near the capital city Malé.

Most travelers will arrive from international destinations such as Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airlines operating regular flights.

Transfer to Paradise Island

Upon arrival at the Velana International Airport, you have a few options to reach Paradise Island:

• Speedboat: The most common and quickest way to reach Paradise Island is by speedboat. The resort usually arranges speedboat transfers for its guests. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes from the airport.
• Seaplane: For a more scenic route, you can opt for a seaplane transfer. This is a faster but more expensive option, providing aerial views of the stunning Maldivian archipelago. Seaplane transfers are arranged by the resort and typically take about 15 minutes from the airport.

Important Tips:

• Ensure that your flights align with speedboat or seaplane transfer times to avoid unnecessary waiting at the airport.
